How do I book?
Your first step is to request a quote, which we will personally answer.  

Does Alexander Travel charge service fees?
We do not charge service fees for total vacation packages, including air and hotel, and other options.  We do, however, charge fees
for air reservations OR hotel reservations only.  Please visit our

How long does it take to receive a reply once I place a quote request?
We guarantee that you will receive a personalized quote within 24 hours of receiving your request.  However, in most cases, we will
get back to you within just an hour or so, depending on how many requests we receive at the same time.  However, rather you
receive your quote within 30 minutes or 24 hours, you can always be assured that your request has received the personalized
attention in which your vacation deserves.

Why should I use a travel agent instead of booking everything myself?
Because we are experts at planning YOUR vacation!  In many cases, we have already been to were you want to go, providing you
with insider information and tips to make the best of your vacation.  And if we haven't been there yet, we have access to all of the
latest information.  This saves you time in researching the trip yourself.  Best of all, we work for you, and provide you with the

What are the deposit requirements, and when is final payment due?
Deposit requirements vary from package to package.  However, if you are booking your vacation package 90 days prior to your
travel date, a minimum deposit of $200 is due 3-5 days from the time we place the courtesy hold on your reservations.  Final
payment is generally due 60 prior to travel, though some package companies may require it sooner.  Airline reservations are always
due at the time of booking.  Your personal agent will review all of the requirements with you at the time of booking.

Do you offer a payment plan?
We certainly do!  As long as the deposit/final payment dates are satisfied, we welcome you to make as many payments in any
amount that you wish.  It is totally up to you!

How do I pay?
We accept all major credit cards as well as personal checks.  Once your trip is planned, your personal travel agent will help you in
making payment.  

Do I receive a receipt of payment?
You sure do!  Upon booking your vacation, you will receive a letter of confirmation via mail, which will include all of the details on
your trip, as well as a statement of payment along with what your balance is and when it is due (if applicable).  Furthermore, every
time you submit payment, we will issue you another letter of confirmation.  You will always have documentation of your trip details
on hand to review for yourself.

Do I need trip insurance?
Trip insurance is optional, but we strongly encourage you to purchase this important detail for your package.  As with all insurance,
you don't realize just how important it is until you need it and don't have it.  Trip insurance will protect you against costly penalties
that can incur should you need to cancel.  It can also protect you should you lose your luggage, have a medical emergency during
the course of your trip, and much more.  Ask your agent for more details.

Do you price guarantee?
We do!  If special offers on your package are announced after you purchase your arrangements, your personal agent will review the
offer for details of the special, and contact you should the offer permit us to lower your rate.  Always remember, the best way to
insure the best rates is to book early, while availability is still open.

When would I receive my travel documents?
You will receive your documents 2-4 weeks prior to departure.  We will review them for you for accuracy, then forward them onto
you in plenty of time for your travels.

What if I have to cancel?
We understand that life can throw twists and turns into your plans.  If you need to cancel, contact your agent immediately.  We will
review the policies of your travel arrangements with you.  Also refer to trip insurance above.
